Sacrament of the Sick
Sacraimint na nEaslán

We in St. Canice's had the honour of hosting World Day  of the Sick in February 2015 and together with all the parish teams we successfully accommodated a very welcome congregation from all over the Diocese. Archbishop Diarmuid Martin celebrated mass on the day and thanks to hosts of generous volunteers we were able to drive and collect so many of those who could not ordinarily get to the church for Mass. We were delighted to be able to offer to those who physically couldn't attend the opportunity to join us on the internet as we celebrated Mass. After mass we offered refreshments to all who made the journey. Take a look at some of the photograph of the day itself.

THE SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
Any person who is ill is welcome to receive this sacrament. Please contact any priest in the parish and he will delighted to celebrate this sacrament with you. The parish also holds a communal celebration of this sacrament during the Summer months on a regular basis.
